Special Spotlight Session

Earth Theater, Carnegie Museum of Natural History
The Mysterious Bog People is the first-ever international touring exhibit
to explore 10,000 years of rituals and sacrifice in northwestern Europe.
It features seven bog mummies and more than 330 unique artifacts that
have never been displayed in the United States. This special session will
feature a presentation followed by a guided tour through the exhibit.

Technology Showcase

This year's top-of-the-morning Technology Showcase will open your eyes to some of the new technologies recently developed by researchers from the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University that are now available for licensing as well as regional companies founded on the basis of University-derived intellectual property. The Technology Showcase is being organized by the Office of Enterprise Development, Health Sciences.
Career Development Workshop for Emerging Scientists

Interinstitutional Collaborative Case Study

This case study will focus on the development of interinstitutional collaboration
among the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and Sandia
National Laboratories that led to the establishment of the Pittsburgh
Molecular Libraries Screening Center, which will use high-tech screening
